Melissa Hunt is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in interventional pain management at Comprehensive Pain and Spine Specialists, LLC. She is board certified through the American Acadeomy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Melissa began her nursing career in 2013 as a labor and delivery nurse before transitioning to the pediatric intensive care unit (ICU), where she also floated to the pediatric cardiac ICU.

Her diverse clinical background has provided her with a strong foundation in caring for complex and critically ill patients. In 2015, Melissa pursued advanced education and earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Indiana State University in May 2018.

Melissa is passionate about providing patient-centered care, empowering patients to take an active role in their pain management while collaborating to develop individualized treatment plans that optimize overall quality of life.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys shopping with friends, attending concerts, spending time with her husband and children, and staying active at the gym.
